Welcome back to the Quoted The Day Show. I'm your host, Sean Crox and a

Sean Crox and.com. We got Kanye West on the show today. And in this clip, he

is doing a Q&A in front of a large group of artists. And this talk, however,

can also be applied to you if you're not a artist by the typical definition,

because I believe that we're all artists. We are all responsible for creating

our lives. We get to create our lives. We get to express ourselves. We get to

create our relationships. We get to create our businesses. You are a creator.

You do art. But as we get older, because it's so funny how we work, we're more

concerned about not losing things than we're concerned with actually doing

things that give us pleasure and reward. We're like, I don't want to lose a job.

I don't want to lose the house. I don't want to lose security. And because of that,

we stop creating art. We stop expressing ourselves. Because we care what other

people are going to think. And it kind of honestly makes us feel a little bit

dead inside. Because to be a real artist of your life, to be a true creator of

your life, you got to get beyond what other people are thinking and just have

the courage to express yourself. Because that's what makes you come alive.

And Kanye can say some things sometimes where he's like, what did he say?

But at the same time, that is just Kanye being Kanye. And that's okay. And it's

okay for you to be who you are as well. And so I hope you enjoy this clip.
