Yo, today's QOTS, courage is the key to life itself.

Welcome back to the QOTS, the day show I'm your host, Sean Cracks, and a Sean

Cracks and we got Morgan Freeman, the man himself making his debut appearance on the QOTS show.

This is from 2014. It's from CNN. He was doing an interview with Don Lemon.

And it's something I like to listen to every or just watch on YouTube every once in a while because you guys know me.

I don't believe that because of the color of my skin, I can't be successful.

Like that's just not part of my belief system. And I think it's a good thing that's not part of my belief system because if it was, I probably wouldn't be doing what I'm doing right now.

And I really believe, just like he says here, that it's about courage.

You know, if you got courage, you can go through anything.

You can go through all the obstacles. You can go through all of the negative self-talking.

You can go through all of the haters and critics. It doesn't matter. If you have courage, right?

And I do believe that it's more difficult for some people in their circumstance.

And I do believe that it's easier for some people because of their circumstances and the resources that they have.

But it doesn't mean it's impossible.

There are too many examples of minorities who come from poor backgrounds who have done well in life.

And it is not fair to say that it was luck.

If you tell me I got lucky, we have a problem, right?

And so it's about courage, it's about making decisions, about taking action.

It's about surrounding yourself with, you know, people who support and inspire you, who cheer you on instead of hold you back.

Like that's what it's about. And like he says, the bus runs every day, right?

It does. And that is the truth, but are you willing to get on the bus?
