Hey everybody and welcome back to I Just Want to talk about the Bible.

My name is Christian Keeter and I live in the southeast of the United States of America with my amazing, beautiful godly Lacey, and our two wonderful daughters, Felicity and Serenity.

So today, let's begin by reading a passage of scripture out of Psalm 107.

So we're going to read verses 23 through 32.

It says, some went down to the sea and ships doing business on the great waters.

They saw the deeds of the Lord, his wondrous works in the deep. For he commanded and raised the

stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. They mounted up to heaven. They went down to

the depths. Their courage melted away in their evil plight.

They reeled and staggered like drunken men and were at their wits' end.

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.

He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.

Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast

love for his wondrous works to the children of man. Let them extol him in the congregation

of the people and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

So again, that was Psalm 107, 23 through 32.

And Psalm 107 is a passage of scripture that we've discussed on this podcast before,

and it's a Psalm that I really, really love.

And it's all about the steadfast love of the Lord.

It gives four examples of these four groups of people

who for one reason or another, sometimes it's self-inflicted, sometimes it's not, but they find

themselves in just adverse, unpleasant, undesirable circumstances. And the incredible thing is
