Summary
In this episode of The Self Love Fix Podcast, I'm talking all about how to overcome self-doubt and step into your authentic self. I'll share a bit of my personal journey when it comes to overcoming self-doubt as well as my top tips for finally stepping into and living the true you!
Here are a few points I cover:
- You can only try to put on a facade for so long
- How receptivity changes everything
- Shifting our beliefs
Self-doubt can cause us to have an alternate version of ourselves. You can't do it for too long before you revert to who you really are. You're real. The true you will always come out at some point!

| 0:00.0 | I sound a way. That's what I mean by by any means necessary. I will never in my life. |
| 0:07.2 | Any more, let anything stop me from something I know I deserve in need. I won't do it. I can't do it. I won't do it. |
| 0:14.0 | If I want it that bad. If I want it that bad. If I don't want it that bad, whatever. I'm not going to force myself to want it. |
| 0:22.5 | If I want it that bad, nothing is going to get in my fucking way. Nothing. I will sit here and I will pull up my excel sheet and I will write out every penny I have coming into my accounts. I will look at all of my accounts. I will look underneath my couch for some pennies. |
| 0:40.5 | Exactly. Somebody said change the spending habits. I will never in my life say I can't because if I say I can't I have already decided. |
| 0:49.5 | I have already decided. |
| 0:55.5 | Hi, I'm Beatrice. I'm a self-love embodiment coach, a match of Stan, and the creator of the self-love over codependency program. |
| 1:04.5 | This podcast is all about helping you move from shame, people pleasing, codependency, and low self-esteem and fully into alignment, expansion, and unapologetic self-love through healing the inner child, spirituality, and manifestation. |
| 1:24.5 | Now, I won't lie in addition to the last tears and the joy. You may be triggered from time to time when tuning in, but these triggers will lead to a deep dive into who you really are, all you desire, and the confidence to demand more out of your life. |
| 1:45.5 | Welcome to the self-love fix where you get your dose of self-love tips. |
| 1:56.5 | Hello, hello, hello, and welcome back to the self-love fix podcast. My name is Beatrice. I'm your host, and this week I'm so excited for this episode because this is actually pulled from alive. |
| 2:09.5 | I did a couple of weeks ago, but it's so, so good. It's so good that I wanted to give you a preview of what it's about because this is a bit of a longer episode. |
| 2:19.5 | So the three major points I hit in this episode is one, I talk about some of the things my mother used to tell me when I was younger that really instilled this feeling of self-doubt within me. |
| 2:33.5 | So some things she would say, some negative things she would say about myself, my personality, the way I did things. And I think you might really find that helpful if you grew up with narcissistic abuse or just in a family where you just didn't feel like who you were was something that was celebrated or was something that was seen as important or seen as valuable. |
| 2:56.5 | So that's one part I talk about in this episode. And the second thing I talk about in this episode is how to overcome self-doubt, which by the way, self-doubt, when I talk about self-doubt in this episode, I'm talking about when people say things to us and we trip up and think to ourselves, oh no, should I change this aspect of myself? |
| 3:16.5 | Oh no, they said this doesn't mean I'm doing too much. I'm doing the most that kind of a thing. So overcoming self-doubt. And then the last thing I talk about, which was kind of a surprise conversation that I didn't know we were going to get into. |
| 3:29.5 | But during the live, somebody made a comment about how they felt like how they wanted something, but they said, I'm broke and I can't have the thing. |
| 3:39.5 | So it kind of really ties into this conversation about self-doubt. It's like sometimes that happens too with money, right? Like the dirty topic, ooh, the dirty topic of money. It's like sometimes we really, really want something really bad. |
| 3:52.5 | But we doubt that we can have it or we start to come up with a lot of objections to why we can't have the thing. But the whole time we know we want it, we know we desire it, we know we deserve it. |
| 4:05.5 | And for some reason we can't get in line with the fact that we do. And so we start to tell ourselves stories like how we're broke or it can never happen for me or there's no possible way things like that. |
| 4:16.5 | And so I had a conversation with this person during the live, which I think you'll find very valuable, especially if you are a person who's ever uttered the words, I'm broke. |
| 4:26.5 | I can't afford that. I can't have that. It's not possible for me. That's for them, but it's not for me. If you ever use that language, which we all have, I have before. |
