Stephen Graydonis is with us, Deacon Graydonis, the member of the New York Film Critics Circle.

He's a Deacon for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. He's the creator of decent films,

and for more than a decade he was the award-winning National Catholic Register film critic.

And we're very glad to have him. Deacon Stephen Graydonis, thanks for being back with us.

So it's always a pleasure. Great to be here.

I am, I was a little slow on the uptake. You have some fascinating things to talk

to us about the most popular movies of the last, oh I've probably 20 years, maybe coming up on

25 years all around the world, the Marvel movies, the Spider-Man movies. So we'll get into all that.

I want to get into that in a minute, but you've had a little bit of a change in your life. I know

because I see the emails between you and Darren and you're busy right now. What's the big change you've

gone through? So for almost as long as I've been on this radio show and doing decent films,

and the two are basically co-terminus. I started doing this show and I started decent films back in 2000.

For almost that long, my day job has been in IT. I have worked with behind a computer and

built websites, and that was my day job. The IT sector has been under a lot of pressure in the

last couple of years. It's been shedding tens of thousands of jobs in my company. It's been

shedding hundreds of jobs and after many, many rounds of cuts, in January my job went away,

like many others. It was outsourced and so it doesn't exist. I have been thinking for a long time

for many years and my wife Suzanne had been saying to me that all of the other areas of my life that

I've been developing, my work is a deacon, my religion studies, my writing, my film work.

There had to be something there that I could do that would be more fulfilling to me and maybe
