another I believe that if God's people will humble themselves and seek the

face of the Lord and turn our hearts towards him, we will see God bless America

Our topic this week is choosing to be free, but I want to start with a piece.

I mentioned Israel, I have learned something. I've been in and out of Israel since I was a boy and I have many friends there. It's been an important part of my life and my

spiritual formation. But I've learned something from my Israeli friends that I'm

a bit envious of them to be honest. They have a love for their nation. If you've been to Israel, you know that it's a

Middle East, it's a contentious place. And when my Israeli friends say good morning the

nature of the Hebrew language, it sounds like they're having a fight and the truth is they

may bicker internally and have disputes and argue with some intensity around you

know there are some that are ultra-Orthodox and some that are very secular and yet

when there's an external threat I'm amazed at the way they will stand together and
