and we're starting the the week out big because this hour we have Bishop Andrew Cousins

the Bishop of Crookston, Minnesota to talk with us about the Eucharistic revival the

whole big work of the Eucharistic revival and if you have questions in that regard you

Bishop Cousins is the chairman of the Committee on Evangelization and Catechesis at the United

States Conference of Catholic Bishops and that makes him the chair of this whole big Eucharistic

revival and Eucharistic Congress Bishop Cousins thank you for taking the time to be with

I'm delighted to be with you thanks for having me on your show.

So this is a big job you got how do you think preparations are going?

You know it's been a great first year of the revival the revival is a three year movement

right and really we hope it will even continue beyond that but it's a three year initiative

of the bishops and so we had the first year which we which began on Corpus Christi 22 and

finished on Corpus Christi 23 and it was incredible.

We had really hundreds of Eucharistic congresses thousands of Eucharistic processions the goal

of this year was really to engage leaders and we've been able to through our website we've

developed a whole kind of learn platform which has incredible courses on the Eucharist

our website is EucharisticRevival.org for people who want to check it out but that has

allowed us to engage leaders across the country we've had a group of 50 Eucharistic preachers
