Well, welcome back to Catholic Cancer's Live. I'm Sy, Kelet, your host and as promised

0:20.7

Scott Weeman here with us from Catholic In Recovery. He wrote the sacraments and the

0:26.4

steps and he's been building up this beautiful apostolate Catholic In Recovery and he's actually

0:32.2

on the road. Usually we have him here in studio with us, but he's as part of his work building

0:36.2

up that apostolate, which is an apostolate. I'll let him tell you about it. I was going

0:39.8

to describe it, but I'll let him describe it to you. He'll do better than I will. Scott's

0:43.1

on the road. So it's nice to have you here, but even though we don't quite have you here,

1:23.2

variety of addictions, compulsions, and unhealthy attachments, as well as those impacted by the

1:27.8

family disease of addiction. That might include alcoholism, drug addiction, compulsive overeating,

1:34.2

restricted eating, gambling addiction, pornography and lust addiction, technology addiction,

1:39.5

cluttering, you name it. The things that we attach to or seek in place of God that become

1:44.6

finally have it forming, but really manifest physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

1:51.9

And so we unite 12-step addiction recovery with the Sacramento Life of the Church to create a

1:56.9

place where people can find really support. It's really just those who have found recovery,

2:01.5

sharing the good news with those who are seeking it, and in turn, both benefit.
