the show Amanda Eyre Ward and Jardine Lebert. Welcome. Thanks for having us. Now Amanda and Jardine are

both writers. That's correct, right? And ishmm. And is that how you met through your writing?

It is. We both were writers in Austin, but we were introduced by a mutual friend, who's also a writer.

When I got sober, she said, you have to meet my fabulous, amazing friend who's also sober,

and that's how we met. Interesting. Well, they have a bookout at the moment,

which is just really fun. It's called The Sober Lush, and I'll ask you about that name in a minute.

But let me just give you a little overview of it. Jardine and Amanda wanted to live spontaneous and

luxurious lives to escape the ordinary and

enjoy the intoxicating. Their drinking, however, had started to numb them to the present moment

instead of unlocking it. Ward was introduced to Liber when she first got sober. As they became

friends, the two women talked about how they yearn to create lives that were technicolor,

beautifully raw, connected, blist out and outside the lines, but how? In the sober lush,

LeBeran Ward provide a roadmap for living a lush and sensual life without booze. This book

offers ideas and instruction for such non-alcoholic joys.
