It's obvious that he's dealing here with what we might call theological speculation.

The curiosity that leads a human being to inject their own surmises into the teaching as though they were divine doctrine. We all need to be

aware of doing that. And if we are simply not sure if our read of the word is right at one point,

it's best to own up to that. I think he means. Look, I try to do that in this podcast, whenever

there's a possible meaning of the text

that I'm just not quite sure about. The Word of the Lord endures forever is a daily verse-by-verse

Bible study with the church, past and present. Pastor Whedon is leading us in a study of the book

of 2nd Timothy. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit,
