Let me be clear. I do not recommend that you Google the phrase total ass fucker. But

if you were to Google that phrase, my next guest would pop up at the very top of your

search results. I'm looking at it now. It's an article called The Man in the Shadows

from the Portland Mercury. It's a story about Mark Weiner who is a political consultant

here in Portland. He worked in New York for years. He's worked on the national level.

Now he's a major player here in the Portland political scene. In this profile, it was

written about him in 2010, an anonymous political insider described him as a total ass

fucker. And the journalist sort of went with that as his lead, which is why he pops up

there under that. I've had a couple other guests on here who I would have thought would

be much more likely to pop up on the Google search, maybe Connor Habib, for example, a

gay porn star, intellectual repeat guest on this podcast. But no, it's Mark Weiner who

isn't even gay and he's an porn star. But anyway, he's a very interesting guy. He's

much to my surprise, actually. He's very willing to talk openly, honestly, without seemingly

without worrying about protecting his reputation, which may be one of the great things about

being known as a total ass fucker. You don't really have to protect your reputation. Although
