And this is probably the biggest and best episode we have ever done.

You fluffed it up last episode. You teased it out. And we have to overperform on this one because there is no failing. There is no failboat for this one. Well, now that the pressure is on, as if you heard the last episode, you know that we, for the most part, do cases that, while they may be well known, very rarely are they, the massive media sensation, highly publicized ones.

But you can't talk about a woman scorned without talking about Jody Arias.

A fact, a forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Lieberman, said in Latin Times magazine,

Jody fits the exact description of the bad girl scorned type of woman that I write about in my book.

I've described bad girl scorned as a woman that I write about in my book. I've described bad girl scorn as a woman who, because of childhood problems, including feeling unloved by her father, develops fear

of abandonment. The Jody Arias case, y'all all know who she is. You've probably followed it.

It's a semi-recent story. In 2013, when she was on

trial, something about this sucked me in. And where I worked at the time, there was another

girl that I worked with who was also a true crime fan and she and I kind of bonded over it.

And I got obsessed over this case.

And I remember one day it was dead slow in there.

And she and I were just on the phone researching.

And I texted her the other night and I said, do you remember

when I got super obsessed with Jody Arias's case? And she was like, my God, how can I forget?

And I was like, I'm finally getting to talk about it on the podcast. So there's a lot to talk about

here. We already know this is going to be a two-parter. This is part one.
