you four rules to help you stop living paycheck to paycheck, get out of debt and save more money. Today I want to talk specifically about your small business budget.

I'm working on this and I'm pretty excited about the results. I wanted to answer just one question that I received

from small business Wienab users that are currently using Wienab for their

business or are thinking about it and it's a pretty simple little setup,

pretty simple question.

And that is, if I'm kind of a solopreneer,

freelancer, simple business,

not a lot going on maybe, should I use a separate budget or could

I mix it in with my personal budget and maybe just have a separate master category for all

of those business transactions? I would urge you to set up a separate

budget. Just go up to file, create a new budget, or whatever it says says exactly and run them separately.

I run Wienab separately from the Meekham household budget and it works wonders.

There are a few inefficiencies. You'll notice that when you transfer money from your personal checking account to perhaps your business checking account, maybe you're all at the same bank.

Transfers are super easy, that's how it is with me, and then you're having to

record two transactions. You're having to record the personal transfer out or in from

your checking account on the personal side and then out or in on the business

checking side and that's two separate transactions.

If you're running them in one budget that would of course just be one transaction

and you could click back and forth

between the two and from transactions with ease,

bouncing back and forth between your business
