A child. Any child should feel safe in their own home. It should be a place where they should

feel free to be themselves without fear of harm or neglect. This became all the more imperative

during the pandemic lockdown, where their home would be a child's entire world, their family

being the only people in their lives.

Unfortunately, as we have learned in far too many stories this year,

Star Hobson and Arthur Labino Hughes come to mind, but the lockdown meant there was no

respite for abused children, no chance for someone to see what was happening and to save

these children. Lola James is no exception to this.

Lockdown meant mother's boyfriend of only a few days moved in with a young family
