being here with us. This is so nice to be back in the studio doing this again for Holy

Week. A very blessed Holy Week to you and all of yours. I hope that your lent has been fruitful

and productive and in the spiritual sense and all that. But if it hasn't, God still loves

you for Holy Week. And I say that mostly to remind myself. We got two hours of open

Of course, Apologist here at Catholic Answers, a wonderful writer and speaker. And also,

as everybody knows, practically my closest friend in the whole world because of our mutual

admiration for one another. Hi, Joe. That was maybe the meanest introduction I've ever

heard. Why would you say that? What about that? Or the nicest. It depends on my level of

cynicism. I'm either extremely honored or deeply wounded.

Well, you know, I was doing the pledge drive the other day for Spirit, Catholic Radio

in Nebraska. And Jen Brown was like, wow, you and Joe don't really get along. I was like,

wow, you've noticed. I didn't realize that this was a thing, you know?

Oh, yeah. It's like a punch and duty show for those who... Sorry, maybe that reference

is lost. You know what punch and duty shows are? Yeah, the puppets who beat each other

up. Yeah, they just beat each other mercilessly. I saw one once and it was insane. Yeah.

We worry about like violence and cartoons. And then we're just like, here's a puppet show.

One puppet has a stick and just beats the other one for no reason. Yeah. Well, you know,

more and more is in values and aesthetics change over time. Morals don't used to be nice

to beat puppets. Yeah, puppet. What we value in a puppet show, you can't imagine

Kermit doing that, but I think Miss Piggy, you know? Oh, you know what? Well, prior to Sesame
