My name is Joshua Sheets. I am your host. Let's do a little bit of financial planning discussion.

As you may have heard, the one Big Beautiful Bill Act has been passed by Congress,

signed by the president, and is now the law of the land in the United States. And in the One Big

Beautiful Bill Act, we have a number of changes to financial law. a set of new regulations, some new adjustments,

adjustments to numbers, and some new tax deductions, a couple new things, and we have a new set of

accounts, a new set of tax advantaged accounts that are commonly being referred to right now

as Trump accounts. I'm going to share with you the details on those accounts in this show. Now, as with most things, of course, there's 870 pages in this bill. And just like most of the legislators who signed it, I of course wouldn't bother to read it. Neither would the president bother to read it. So what I am

going to do is to do what all politicians do, which is just assume that somebody else smart has read it and

then go off of what that person has read, because I'm not going to take my time to go and read the law.

And so my smart man of choice, who I always follow for things like this, is Jeff Levine, who is a CPA, a CFP.

He is the chief planning officer for focus partners.

He's a professor of practice and tax at the American College.
