Last time around, we heard St. Peter remind us that the prophets had all spoken of this glorious and gracious salvation that was to be ours,

and how curious they were about it.

They searched and inquired carefully

about how their words would finally be fulfilled, asking the Spirit of Christ, who was moving them

about the person and the time of their fulfillment when the Christ would suffer and then would
