Hi Dr Laura, oh my gosh, I'm so nervous.

I first want to tell you thank you because as someone who lost their mom as a little girl I wish I discovered you

sooner you have ordered my path in a way that I don't have the words yet for and

hopefully I will find them someday and be able to email it to you so thank you

As I mentioned I lost my mom at 12 and prior to that we were extremely close.

It was my mother and my father and myself in the house.

I had two older siblings, but I was born when they were 16 and 17, so they were away at school

most of the time.

And when my mother was sick, I was the one after little girl who was there with

her and seeing most of what happened at that time when you know she had breast cancer and how it

manifested and how it you know took a toll on her body I saw everything. For the

past year I've noticed people have said to me that I mentioned my mother a lot

I'm sorry I'm trying not to um cry I mention my mother quite often if there is an accomplishment I do talk about my mother and how

brilliant she was and how she came to this country with nothing and made something of herself.

If there is something that I need, if there's an event that I need to go to, I would say what

with my mom wear, if there, just basic things

in conversation with friends, with work, my mother does tend to come up a lot. I remember vividly a lot of things as a child that I
