During the Trump administration, a special council was appointed by the breathtakingly corrupt

Bill Barr named John Durham to investigate the origins of Mueller's, Robert Mueller's

investigation into whether or not Russia interfered in some way with the 2016 election.

Recently, Durham filed a pretrial motion relating to charges against a guy called Michael

Susman, who had been a lawyer for the Clinton campaign.

The charges are incredibly weak.

It has something to do with Susman's lying to the FBI.

But in order to throw some red meat, Durham threw in some language, vague legalistic jargon

that the right has been running with over the last few days.

And on Fox, of course, they're basically saying that what Durham has accused the Clinton

campaign of doing is paying a tech company to infiltrate White House servers.

Actually that lie was first pushed by a guy named Cash Patel, who was a Donald Sikafent

who was installed briefly in the Department of Defense.

So this lie is so egregious and ridiculous that even John Ratliffe, another Donald Sikafent

who was briefly the director of intelligence, had to go on Fox and say that it wasn't

true.

I'm going to read Donald's response to all of this though, because between him and Fox,

that's what the people on the right are listening to.

They're not listening to a retraction or a disavowal by one guy.

They're listening to Tucker Carlson and they're listening to Donald Trump.

Donald said this in a, I guess, official statement on his special stationery.

This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate.
