Right now we're talking NASCAR. We are joined by the driver of the number 22 for Team Penske,

Mustang. He's a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champ in 2018 and

2022. He won the Daytona 500 in 2015. On top of that, he has 35 Cup Series races,

wins, including three this year. He is one of four drivers who's going to be competing

for the title at the NASCAR Cup Series Championship.

It is Sunday at the Phoenix Raceway at 3 p.m. Eastern. Of course, I'm talking about Joey Lugano. Joey,

good to have you back on the program, especially this week. How you doing, Joey?

I'm doing great. How you been? Good, good, man. Good. So since you and I spoke last February, it seems like, you know, because that was right before the season started and the day turned a 500, it's only fitting that we run it back before Sunday's final race.

How are you feeling about the car, the team, and your chances to win your third cup series crown this weekend?

Yeah, we're feeling pretty good.

You know, it's, you know, back when we talked to February, yes, what the goal is.

The goal when the season starts is to win the championship, right?

Nothing less than that is what it is.

So however we get there, we get there, it didn't matter.

It was about being here in Phoenix this weekend and racing for a championship.

So we accomplished that goal.

That's one piece of it.

Now we got to do the big part is bringing it home.

And I honestly feel like our race team has never been in a better spot.

I think I have the most well-rounded race team that I've ever had around me.
