We're joined right now by the National College Football host for On Three. He's also the host of

Great to have you back. How are you? What's up, Jim? Doing good. Dude, how you feeling? Busy week?

Very busy week. We got the first college football playoff rankings, got a straight up elimination in the SEC, and then one that could be. So

it's going to be fun. All right. So all things that I wanted to get to, of course, what about the

first release of the rankings last night? Andy, anything surprised you and what were your biggest

takeaways overall? I was actually a little surprised at how close the CFP committee's rankings were

to the AP poll. Usually it veers a little bit at how close the CFP committee's rankings were to the AP poll.

Usually it veers a little bit, but the only difference was where they had Ohio State and Georgia.

They just had them flipped.

And everything else was pretty much chalk, which, you know, usually it feels like they go more of who have you beaten rather than, you know, did you, did you play somebody close and

lose? So where Penn State was relative to Indiana and relative to SMU was interesting to me

because, you know, like Penn State's a one-loss team, Indiana's undefeated, SMU's a one-lost team,

but like Penn State and SMU actually have very similar profiles where their one loss is to a currently undefeated team that's really, really good, and they've beaten

everybody else. But I would argue that SMU's best win, Louisville, is probably better than

Penn State's next best win, which is, I guess, Illinois? I agree with you.

I absolutely agree with you on that point.
