On January 8, 2252, recently appointed Admiral Booth-Gonzalez led all the remaining ships of the Martian Navy away from Mars.

In total, they numbered 457 ships.

This was the 239 ships left over from the disaster, 167 FOS-5 container ships, plus 51 assorted other ships that had stayed behind when the Martian Navy set course for Earth under Admiral Cartwright back in April of 2251.

Five days after Gonzales left, a quarter of the Omnacore invasion fleet, and most of the armed fighting vessels took off in pursuit.
