Good morning and welcome to Kid News. I'm Tori. Today is Friday November 17th, 2023. And we begin with smooth sailing to the stratosphere or another airborne

explosion. Tomorrow SpaceX engineers have scheduled a second test flight of

the world's most powerful rocket. During its maiden voyage back in April,

the unmanned super-heavy rocket and Starship capsule soared for four minutes above

southern Texas before tumbling tail overhead and self-destructing.

This second test flight was supposed to take place this morning,

but was delayed at least 24 hours for a mechanical fix.

The nearly 400 foot tall, reusable spacecraft is a key part of the company's plans for sending astronauts on future missions to the moon and perhaps one day to Mars.

SpaceX will live stream the event on its website starting

around 7.30 a.m. Eastern time. If all goes well the Starship will land back

in the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii. First, he beat cancer.
