Hello and welcome to the Wednesday November 15th, 2017 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower. Today we're talking

about Jim Chinos who is added to his short position as well as a couple of lawsuits

against Tesla. Tesla stock on Tuesday closed down 2.12 percent to $3.08.70 as compared to the NASDAQ down 0.29%.

Today we're talking a little bit more about Tesla stock.

Yesterday we got some news that we seem to get every couple of months and this news is coming

from Jim Chinos who is a short on Tesla which means he's betting against the company.

Jim Chinos is the founder of a hedge fund called Kinikos Associates.

The hedge fund has about two and a half billion dollars of assets under management or aum.

Chino's sort of gained notoriety within the investment community and especially within the short selling community.

Because of his predictions about Enron, he was actually short Enron

Prior to Enron filing for bankruptcy in 2001. So short selling companies is kind of what

Chainos' hedge fund sort of specializes in and for over a year they've had a short position in Tesla.

So the news from yesterday is that Chinos' Fund has added to their short position against

Tesla, and Chinos made a couple of comments alongside that news.

What mostly caught media's attention here was that Chino said that he expects by 2020

that Elon Musk would step down as CEO to focus on SpaceX.

He followed up that comment saying, quote, obviously this is not being valued as a car company,

it's being valued on Musk.

He's the reason people own the stock.
