This is Handel on the Law, Marginal Legal Advice, where I tell you you have absolutely no case.

And I want to start with a couple of death stories.

A couple of lawyers dying stories.

Now that gets very exciting for people love lawyers dying.

You know, the old joke, what happens when you find five lawyers dead at the bottom

of the sea? And the answer is, it's a good start. So people who, well, let's say lawyers

are not the most popular people in the world. However, I got a couple of great cases. I love

lawyer deaths cases. So this is

a guy who goes to a strip club, Shotgun Willys strip club. And this is in Glendale, Arizona.

And so he goes to Shotgun Willys, and he gets into a fight with another patron.

And I mean, they're really going out of the patron somehow grabs the ball, the baseball bat that's the back of the bar that the bartender uses to protect himself.

I mean, you know that story. But this guy ends up grabbing the baseball bat and pounds the other fellow to death.

And so the lawyer who represents the plaintiff, the man who was hit, is suing the club

saying that there was not enough security and the bartender and the bouncer

didn't care enough, didn't have enough wherewithal to protect the patrons.

And so this ended up, this guy ended up dying.

Well, both of them had happened to be patrons of the club.

So as the trial was about to start, the plaintiff's lawyer goes to the club because he was an officiant-fichinado and promptly dies.

He dies of a heart attack.

So now you have plaintiff dying, lawyer dying, and the reporting is as the plaintiff's that were plaintiff's other lawyer part of the

firm who had not been on the case says, Your Honor, I want the trial delayed because frankly

the lawyer for the plaintiff died. Strangely enough at the same bar, strangely enough,
