What is up, everybody? We have good friend and hunter extraordinaire, as I like to say,

0:08.9

Mr. Remy Warren here at Vortex HQ. Now right now, Remy, I mean, spring bear season

0:15.4

is underway, right? It is. It is cranking. But, you know, maybe some folks, maybe they

0:20.1

can't get out. Maybe they're going to hunt hard all spring. They're not going to notch

0:22.9

that tag. And they're in that situation where it's the latter part of that spring bear

0:28.8

season. So I think that's what we're going to talk about today. It's kind of like those late

0:32.8

season spring bear tactics and maybe some tips and tricks that might help some folks punch that

0:37.8

tag and things they need to consider as that season progresses. For sure. Yeah. So I'd consider

0:43.2

maybe late, like a late season spring bear hunt is last week of May, but primarily June.

0:48.8

Okay. So there are a few places where that season goes into June. Maybe the first couple weeks

0:52.8

of June. Idaho actually has some seasons that go toward the end of June. So I'd consider it

0:57.8

then. And the interesting thing, the different thing about late season is you've got all the other

1:03.5

bear tactics you can use, but they're also in their breeding season. So boars are going to be moving

1:09.3

more for sows. And that's going to kind of change the tactics a little bit. One of the things

1:13.5

that I switch up is well, another thing later in the season, you run into other problems as well,

1:18.8

right? There's when you're hunting early season, not a lot of foliage has bloomed. Right. Now,

1:24.2

you're looking for bears when the grasses tall and every tree has leaves. So it makes it more

1:29.6

difficult to spot them. And I actually tend to focus on areas that have more open that time of year

1:36.4

because I my glassings more effective and they are moving around more. They'll catch the

1:41.2

scent of a sow. They'll be moving around. They'll be cruising more, trying to find females to breed.

1:46.8

Gotcha. What about what about food? Like, you know, oftentimes when we talk about bears, we're like,

1:50.9

oh, man, they're slaved to their stomach, you know, whatever the bears are keen on. But
