relationship to a bear the animal to bear something in mind actually does not have any relationship to a bear the animal. To bear something in mind

means to keep in mind, to remember something. Don't forget. This is the idea of bear in mind.

It is a fantastic expression. we use it all the time so check out the dialogue

oh he is good at explaining things he's a great teacher bear in mind he's been doing it for 30 years.

over 35 years. Oh, wow. Teaching English for over 35 years. Can you believe that? Since I was a child. That's not true either.

But thank you very much, yes. No, I started the first time, and I'll tell, I just told the story.

The first time I taught an English class, I was 19 years old. Was I qualified to teach an English class? No, but bear in mind,

my students were already good at English. They just needed help with pronunciation and usage.

So I was a coach. So bear in mind I wasn't actually a teacher.

Keep in mind, remember, understand, I wasn't actually a teacher, but I was a coach. And to this day,

I am still a coach, helping you, helping thousands of people like you, master English.
