Neil is an entrepreneur, speaker, a blog author, and the founder of Delivera.

Delivera is an email marketing platform that has helped businesses execute effective marketing campaigns for more than 17 years.

And we're going to talk about that specifically email marketing.

When he started Delivera, Neil didn't pursue the classic entrepreneurial startup model where you raise a bunch of money, grow as fast as possible, and then plan for

some kind of exit. Between his conservative mindset and a desire for independence, he chose not to

seek outside investors, and instead he grew through his own efforts, his own pace, bootstrapping,

if you will, and initially started Delivera out of his own home for $600.

And we'll chat a little bit about that interesting story of founding Delivera.

Neil, before Delivera, had a successful career in accounting.

And in 1999, he gave up being a CPA to launch Delivera, as we said, as an email marketing business. It was the decision that

had people scratching their heads, including his wife, based on the research I've done. We'll chat about

that. But of course, that was 1999. And there wasn't a whole lot of traffic on the internet back then.
