Hey there, everybody. Welcome to this presentation on emerging treatments for PTSD 2025. I'm your host,

0:11.8

Dr. Donnelly Snipe. Today, we're going to explore emerging treatments, including EMDR, CBT, exposure

0:20.1

therapy, medications, psychedelics, the gut microbiome,

0:24.9

the vagus nerve, transcranial magnetic stimulation, sleep improvement, and oxytocin nasal spray.

1:43.8

1:52.1

treatments that is really effective for a lot of people, especially people who have a singular

2:00.2

acute trauma or a set of very distinct traumas.

2:05.6

People who have CPDSD where the trauma was pretty much just every day, all day,

2:12.2

may still benefit from it for sure.

2:16.4

However, it may not be as dramatic of a resolution as somebody who has

2:23.6

a very distinct episode. Cognitive behavioral therapies, now they have been around since sort of the
