Crystal's Question: "My partner and I are 6-ish months into treatment for porn addiction and betrayal trauma. I know very little about his triggers and preferences with his porn addiction. I haven't asked and he hasn't shared. I think I like not knowing. But I wonder if I'm in denial and avoidance or if I'm wise to protect myself from developing more of my own triggers. Are there things I need to know or can I do my recovery work without certain knowledge? When do I know I need a question answered to help me move forward vs how can I identify if it's really not necessary for me to move forward?"

2:02.0 | Oh, man, like, you know, we treat addiction and the fact of the matter is is like food kicks my, my, so I'm on a cleanse. And yeah, I won't talk about my bowel movements too much, but it's been interesting. |
2:17.0 | Well, when you go from two days of a hickama to three days of watermelon only, there's going to be something weird going on. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know what, here's, here's the fascinating part is like, you don't understand when you're numbing your life out. |
2:32.0 | Like if you're really numbing out with sugar and food and these things, like you start to feel things that are deep down in there that you don't realize you start to feel emotions. There's even like spiritual awakening stuff that happens when you're kind of hungry. |
