Okay, Dreamers, this is the second part of a series on the wrongful conviction of deathro

inmate Kevin Cooper.

If you haven't listened to part one,

In part one, we went over the details

of the 1984 murders of Doug and Peggy Ryan,

their 10-year-old daughter Jessica,

and their neighbor 11-year-old Christopher Hughes.

We discussed the initial investigation

and how information led detectives to come to believe an escape

convict named Kevin Cooper was the perpetrator of this crime.

Kevin had escaped from a prison not too far away from where the Ryan's house was located,

and he took refuge in a vacant home that was the closest neighboring residence to the Ryan's.

Undisputed evidence placed him in the home around the time the

murders are believed to have taken place and Kevin himself has not attempted to

deny that.

He was there, but he says, he didn't do this crime.

We reviewed some of the evidence investigators presented at trial that resulted in Kevin Cooper's conviction and subsequent sentence of death.
