It seems like the weeks are going by really fast right now for some reason, and I get really

for being here, and I love doing this. Today, I kind of wanted to talk a little bit about some things that non-anxious people don't do. So do you know anyone in your life that just really isn't an anxious person? My husband is one of those people in my life, which thank goodness because

between me and my kids, if my husband were anxious, I think that would just make my anxiety even worse.

So I'm so happy that he's not an anxious person. But when I like talk about my anxiety or my

struggles, sometimes he just really doesn't get it, which is

totally fine. But I'm just kind of like, how nice would that be to not feel anxious all the time?

And we all feel anxiety about certain things. That's just kind of a part of being human. And having

zero anxiety isn't like really the goal

but there are just kind of like certain people that are more anxious than others. So if I were to

form a group of people who experience a lot less anxiety in their lives, there are some things

that they would have in common.

And that's what I want to talk to you about today. So there really are certain things that

non-anxious people do in their lives, and there are certain things they don't do. I just want

you to see if you can be aware of these things in your own teen life and whether you are doing them or not. So number one,

they don't spend time feeling sorry for themselves. So when we are mopey, we are completely in a space

where we can't problem solve or think of other options or solutions. So feeling sorry for yourself

is actually a waste of time. No good outcomes come as a result of feeling sorry for ourselves. So when we are

constantly spending energy focusing on like poor me, we put all of our creative energy into that and then we have nothing left to move

forward. Anxiety loves to thrive on self-pity. So they don't spend time feeling sorry for themselves.
