but basically what they'll do is whatever insecurity they know you have or it could be a boundary,

they'll just pick on that and pick on that and at first you might be really calm and collected

because you you're trying to not let them get to you right and so you'll sit there and you won't

engage you won't start an argument but you're hearing them do this and it keeps

happening they keep trying to cross the boundary they keep questioning the boundary they keep pushing

you or they keep nipping you and making fun of you and saying these underhanded comments

and then all of a sudden you finally react because you're tired of hearing it and that's when

the narc will shift and say wow you know guess i'm not the crazy one here wow

you're and you're gonna tell me i'm the toxic one and they completely disregard their part

in getting you to that escalated state they're like oh so you can't control your emotions oh

you are yelling at me oh you are abusing me now look look who's the abuser and it's it's infuriating

for the survivor because they're like man i was so calm cool and collected and then and you're

gonna completely disregard that and only call this out like and it's that they do that though for

that reason to make you feel more shame to make you feel like you're the issue to make you feel

like you're crazy and to question yourself it's awful yeah
