Press. So the subtitle of the book is The Trouble with Mainstream Feminism. It obviously

sort of begs the question, you know, how do you define mainstream feminism, what is mainstream

and what isn't to your mind? Yeah, it's a really good question because I think a lot of the

arguments you make kind of hinge on the

definitions you use. So in the book I define mainstream feminism as media feminism, kind of

mainstream media feminism in the kind of well-known outlets. Some social media feminism, not all

policy feminism, not all. Policy feminism, institutional feminism,

corporate feminism, in kind of the core Anglo sphere and in parts of Europe. And I think that I

call that mainstream feminism, because that is the type of feminism that tends to have a lot of purchase on policy.
