My name is Jeff Gersman. I'm hosting this week's installment. We are here. It is June 18th, 2024. And we're coming in hot on the heels of a bunch of

morning trailers from Nintendo. The old Nintendo Direct happened. They announced it yesterday.

They said, hey, what are you doing tomorrow morning?

I said, well, I don't know, you know, it's like, usually about somewhere between

445 and 550. somewhere between 445 and 515 I get my son and I bring him downstairs and then we hang out down here and I try to get a little sleep and he watches a

little TV and hangs out and does this thing.

And they're like, no, no, no, do you want to watch a thing?

I'm like, yes, I do, but the aforementioned, I can't, the, no, he wants to watch Blues Clues, so he does not want to watch your trailers for video games.

He's very, he's back into into blues clues in a big way and then Nintendo was like but yeah but we got to show this stuff I'm like okay well you show it and I'll I'll take a look at it when I can and so we just watched it here if you're here live we just watched it here. If you were here, if you're here live,

we just watched it a couple hours after the fact here.

So that all just happened.

And those are fresh announcements.

I think one of the smartest things you can do when it comes to watching Nintendo directs or

anticipating them or whatever is to ignore anything anyone has to say about what's going to be

there ahead of time. Not to say the people don't sometimes get it right but I feel

like of the culture of like that

is sprung up around like people who leak stuff and and then go like I'm hearing there's

going to be a director this month and I

oh next I think it might be next week and I might be like the people that

traffic in specifically that traffic in Nintendo
