And it's the New Year. A little late on my podcast. New Year's resolution this year was to not be late on the podcast. I'm just kidding I

didn't set that New Year's resolution. My single New Year's resolution this year is

to learn to do the splits forward and sideways. If anyone has any tips on that

of my hamstring flexibility I'd like to get it back.

When I was doing sit and reach in third grade, the PE coach said,

Jesse, go ahead and get started.

And I replied, I did start.

This, this is it. This is as far as I go. So it's something I'm working on.

Besides that New Year's resolution, it's always a good time to kind of look back at the prior year.

And last year, beginning of of 2012 I looked at my budget

posted about this on the blog probably do a follow-up post this year as well and I was

just kind of questioning my values seeing if what I was spending was okay or seeing if I was just so used

to the budget and so used to everything that I didn't question anything and kept on cruising.

So I looked at some stuff that I wanted to ratchet back.

And I started reading Mr. Money Mustache, one of my good friends.

And I just love how much he forced me to question things and I swung pretty far over that direction in the last four or five months.

Swinging Far meaning I canceled my cell phone bill

and moved to another system and then

had some hiccups and ended up not even using that.
