Is Pilates enough? We're going to break it down today. I'm going to give my honest opinion about Pilates.

so we're taking a bit from that blog post and then I'm just kind of taking a bit from my own personal experience taking Pilates, teaching Pilates, from what I see on Instagram, all the things. But before I start this

episode I want to say that it is never my goal to bash anyone. I know we have

lots of awesome Pilates instructors who listen to the podcast.

It is never my goal to make anyone feel wrong

or that their workout choices are bad or useless

That is never, ever my goal. So I do not want anyone to feel like

they're doing something wrong if they enjoy Pilates or if they teach Pilates or whatever.

But if I had to be completely honest, I am actually someone who prefers Pilates over other forms of exercise.

I used to teach Pilates, like I said, Matt Pilates, and it always felt so right and good for my body.

But I've come to learn that the reason I enjoy Pilates is that I enjoy that satisfying muscle burn in ways that my body feels safe and stable.

Like my nervous system doesn't feel on edge.

I feel like I can really have good quality
