Summary

106.2 Yellow Tape

Mourning the loss of their close friend, Elle and Lionel come home to watch a mysterious yellow tape that was bequeathed to them in their friend’s will. But by the end of the tape, the couple wish it had never come to them.

0:41.5	Then the blue screen transitions to a black one, like there's a cap on the videotape recorder.
0:47.8	Nothing else on the black screen but scan lines cutting it up and the date and time stamped
0:52.3	on the bottom left hand corner in a white monos-based
0:55.0	font. What does the date say? Ells says. July 21st, 2023. That was like, what, eight months ago,
1:05.7	says Lionel. The blue screen suddenly transitions to an image.
1:10.8	It is that of a washroom.
1:13.0	Despite the bad quality of the recording and the low light of the room, it is easy to pick
1:17.5	certain features out.
1:19.8	The mirror above the sink is smudgy, flex of toothpaste about halfway up.
1:25.3	The countertop is a walnut-cultured granite.
1:28.4	The grey matches the blue towel to the right.
1:31.5	There are two toothbrushes in the little holder beside the tap, one white, one black.
1:37.4	And then there's a hair tie on the counter, green and tangled up with what looks to be red hair.
1:43.8	Lionel, please tell me this isn't our washroom,' says Al."
1:48.0	"'Fuck, it is. You're right. Why the hell would Archie leave this to us in his will?
