Hi guys, welcome back to Unbreakable Latina. This is your host Melina. I hope you're having an amazing day, whatever day you're listening to this on. I did not record the podcast this weekend. I was absolutely tired, exhausted. I've been saying that for a while, but I really truly felt it. I just have been nonstop since like the

year started, but I gave myself grace because I am going on vacation tomorrow and I didn't want to

be exhausted for my vacation. I also hadn't really cleaned my house. I hadn't done anything.

And I knew that I wanted to sleep in. And let me tell you,

so I canceled Saturday, canceled Pilates. I'm like, I'm going to sleep in because I've been going

hard, going early on the weekends and just getting my day started. But I canceled Pilates and I told

myself, it's going to rain. So just sleep in. I had an event to go to at night so i had nothing else planned

except sleep in do some laundry and get ready for that event and i did that i woke up at 10 30 a.m.

which for me that's like waking up at 1 p.m. for a regular person because I'm such a morning person. I always

fight with myself, within myself whenever I do sleep in. Like, oh my God, it just wasted so much

time, but my body truly needed it. And I slept in. I had breakfast. Very, very slow motion. I ended up getting ready for the event I was going to.

I got invited to a Chispa and a clara for creators event.

It was an event called Girls' Night Inn, and it was in celebration of women's history month.

When I got the invitation, I was really surprised that it was hosted on a Saturday where I can actually go to. So I was

super excited when I got the email. The event was invite only, so I couldn't bring a plus one.

And I was really nervous about that. But I thought to myself, like, I always saw everybody to step out

of their comfort zone. Like, this is out of my comfort zone, going to events by yourself. I don't know. Me la nervios. I get a little anxiety. But once I'm there and I start talking to people, I feel better. But I thought of a couple creators that I'm like, hmm, I wonder if they got invited to. So I messaged Jess Lupita. If you don't follow her, follow her. She is so sweet.

I knew I was going to hit it off with her. We've never met in person, but we've talked over Instagram. I have a lot of virtual friends that I don't know, but I feel like I know. And she actually got invited as well, so I felt a little better knowing that she was going. And we're all like, what are you going to wear? I don't know what I'm gonna wear.

So we ended up arriving around the same time and I waited for her to park we walked in together she was waiting for her other friend that I also follow on Instagram I didn't

know that she was coming is Jenna Londra and she does like fashion content they both do like

fashion makeup lifestyle I'm more of the podcast, girly, but
