We're doing kind of the standard surf news, and then I'm going to tack on a little

interview at the end of the show that Scott did with Maurice Cole about his relationship

with Tom Curran and specifically a board that he made for Tom Curran that became famous by a photo that almost

everybody has seen of Tom Curran doing a cutback, I think in 1991 at Backdoor,

photo by Tom's survey, real classic, I mean the classic cutback photo.

And Maurice built that board for Tom, and that board is going up for auction this

weekend at the California vintage surf auction. I think it's the vintage auction.com is the website

and Scott's responsible for curating all those boards and other stuff involved with the auction.
