The next question is really, really fundamental to this conflict, to understanding this place.

Why has a two-state solution been so difficult to achieve?

0:13.8

You got two peoples that kind of stuck here.

0:16.3

Nobody's getting rid of anybody.

0:18.1

Why won't they just separate, make that deal? What other deal is there?

why has no leadership of Palestinians ever accepted that there would be two states for two peoples?

1:34.6

Not one state of Palestinian state and the other state, a universal civic democracy for everybody,

1:39.7
