Summary

The Church must have a greater understanding and knowledge of God. We are facing challenges as a nation --never faced before -- and they are greater and more threatening that a political climate. It is the moving and shaking of a spiritual battle. The solutions do not lie within a ballot box, they come from a moving of the Spirit of God. Pastor Allen Jackson reminds us we can no longer afford to “play Church”. Familiar routines and habits have been shaken. Instead of trying to push the restart button on time, we as the People of God have a choice to move toward what God has for us.

1:17.4	You know, our goal is not simply to build a theological idea or a system of understanding our Bibles.
1:24.0	Our goal is to understand how to interact with the word of God.
1:28.0	You know, we're facing challenges that we've never faced as a nation before.
1:34.0	And I know we've struggled to find routine and to get back into some normal habits,
1:38.0	and that's a good thing. It's not evil or wicked.
1:40.0	But the solutions we need ultimately are spiritual.
1:44.0	And that's not some self-aggrandizing idea.
1:47.0	I don't mean they're going to emerge from our congregation.
1:50.0	But the origin of the needed solutions is spiritual, the expressions of those solutions may emerge
1:56.6	from the scientific community or from technology or political leadership or public health
