When you hear the term meadow, what picture comes to mind?

For most people, it's a sweeping field of grasses and multicolored blooms.

The thing is though, meadow doesn't require much space, and it might just become your favorite

new spot in the garden.

You don't even need to own property to enjoy a little meadow in your life.

In fact, my guest today, Mike Lizot, has even worked with container gardeners to create

tiny meadows space on a balcony or patio.

I mean, imagine watching wildflower blooms sway in the breeze as you enjoy that cup of

coffee in the morning next to your own meadow.

Well, I'm adding meadow space at the garden farm this year, and I can't think of anyone

better to help me get started in Mike.

He's been the owner of American Meadows for about 10 years there, a wildflower seed company.

And during that time, he's consulted with thousands of gardeners to help them build

meadows that beautify their landscape and promote pollinators and ease up on the maintenance

too.

Mike is also the author of a brand new book, Many Meadows.
