We're doing a quick podcast here just to talk a little bit about the news that came down on Monday that Rob Thompson, the reports are anyway.

Rob Thompson will be back as manager of the Phillies in 2026, not officially announced by the team, although it wouldn't make sense for the team to officially announce anything because he's already under contract for 2026. The announcement would be if he wasn't coming back. But John Heyman and, gosh, now I'm blanking on the New York Post writer, the other, Joel Sherman.

Yep, both reported on Monday, and then it was quickly confirmed by the Phillies Beat

reporters that Rob Thompson will be back in 2026.

We're not going to get into a whole lot because we are going to be back later this week when Dave Dabrowski and Rob Thompson addressed the media on Thursday morning. They'll be talking to reporters and answering questions, and so we might get a big newsday that day. We're definitely going to be recording on Thursday night after that. past all the all the hullabaloo from that Dodgers series.

I don't know if you saw any of my posts on Blue Sky over the weekend, but I was getting a little, I realized, let's just, let's just say, I was still a little more angry than I realized I was. Let's go with that. So I guess what I'm saying is I'm not ready to say I'm as past it as you are. Yeah. I mean, I don't I don't, I guess I am maybe a little more, but I just, I thought about it.
