I mean, I've used the word excruciating, I think, in every game in this series.

But it's apt the excruciating game four loss on Thursday to the Dodgers 2 to 1 in 11 innings that ended in one of the most bizarre, hurtful, crazy,

maniacal, sadistic ways that you could ever end a season, let alone a baseball game.

That's what happened in Dodgers Stadium on Thursday night as the Phillies lose in four games.

In the NLDS, once again, the fourth straight year's Super, not Super Bowl hopes, the World Series hopes are dashed. Super Bowl hopes are probably dashed. You can go ahead and dash those Super Bowl hopes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just go right ahead. Do it, please. I think you're probably right. But here we are, here we are on a roundtable edition of the podcast. We didn't want to do it

last night after the game because I think everybody just wanted a chance to rest and sleep on

that game a little bit. But we are recording here on, you know, on Friday afternoon. And we're

going to try and make sense of this whole thing. And we'll look ahead just a little bit. But there
