And my great hope at the moment, my optimism for ineffective

incumbents being challenged within their own party is that there is more awareness

than there's ever been. This is one of silver lining with Trump.

More people are paying attention to what's going on in Washington.

More people care.

As Saga and I are very well aware, y'all's favorite topic is political reform,

third parties, campaign finance, no matter what we do,

everyone keeps coming back. So we're having another episode about the topic.

We have an awesome guest, Weston Womp. Weston is a senior strategist at issue one and the host

of the Swamp Stories podcast, which was a great lesson. I'd definitely recommend you all check it out.

And he's bringing an interesting perspective to the debate over political reform in this country.

Weston, as he will say, is firmly on the right. He primaried an incumbent congressman in 2014.

He's from 2017. Since then, he's pursued a career as a venture capitalist,

but has remained incredibly focused on the issue of dark money and politics.

And is also dedicated to focusing on the issue of the national debt at the millennial debt foundation

if 5 or 1 c3 that he runs. I love this conversation because we get into the topics of how

Washington actually works. We also had a fairly spirited debate about the nature of the national debt

and whether or not it's a threat or not. Saga and I are pretty outspoken on our skepticism of a lot

of the folks who focus on the national debt as an issue, especially during a pandemic,
