Summary

We know that your choice of spouse is going to make an enormous difference in your long-term financial success (household income and wealth-building) as well as potential failure (divorce, high expenses) and that of your progeny. But what specifical characterstics and qualities should an unmarried person look for in a potential spouse that would probably lead to a great long-term outcome? 1:04.1	We know that marriage is highly correlated with positive financial outcomes.
1:08.9	Married people accumulate significantly more wealth than non-married people, they earn higher incomes.
1:15.0	Basically, every factor across society is higher for married people and significantly higher. and this confounds even
1:25.0	cohabitating couples who are not married
1:27.0	they are not nearly as productive at
1:30.0	creating and accumulating wealth as married people.
1:32.0	So we understand that marriage is at creating and accumulating wealth as married people.
1:33.1	So we understand that marriage is gonna dramatically impact
1:37.1	the long-term outcomes that you have in life,
1:40.6	and we understand that those outcomes are going to be financially measurable.
