Hi everybody, it's Joe Lampel, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe Gardner

Show.

Today is a day I've been looking forward to for about six months.

That's when I first got a taste of what was coming from my friend and frequent podcast

guest, Margaret Roach, with her breath-takingly beautiful new book, Away to Garden.

And that's what's going to guide our conversation today.

Now if that book title is familiar, it would be for good reason.

First, it's the same title as her original book from 21 years ago, yep, 21 years.

And Away to Garden is also the name of her spectacular website, radio show, and podcast

too, all of which I highly recommend.

But back to her book for a moment, I loved her first book so much when I read that book

I felt like I had finally found a kindred spirit, someone who really got gardening like

I relate to it, certainly on the how to part for sure.

But then on a much more spiritual and sensory level, the way gardening connects us on a much

deeper layer to the countless wonders of nature.

Margaret has many gifts for sure, but writing and being an exceptional gardener are very

high on the list.
