Hello and welcome to another episode of the Fully Charged Show podcast. Now, in this

0:28.0

episode, I talked to someone I've been following for years on Twitter and who has read an enormous

0:33.8

amount of articles by him. His name is Professor Mark Jacobson. He is a professor of civil and

0:38.9

known environmental engineering at Stanford University in California, director of its atmosphere

0:44.8

and energy programme. And over the last 20 years, he has developed computer models to study the

effects of fossil fuel and biomass burning on air pollution, weather and climate. He is very

0:57.1

firmly of the opinion, and this is really what we're talking about in this episode, very firmly

1:15.6

for all their needs. Heating, transport, engineering, manufacturing, everything can all be powered

1:22.9

by electricity and it can all be powered by renewable electricity. He has written a number of

1:27.2

fascinating books and articles. The latest being, it's very obvious title, 100% clean renewable energy

1:33.0

and storage for everything. He's also involved with the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation. I don't know

I know Mark is involved in that as well. So, but before we start, let's just hear a word from our

1:49.7

wonderful sponsor, who is also working towards making a 100% renewably powered world a distinct

1:56.7

possibility. Well, that's enough of the pre-roffled. I mean, the obvious things stand still. Please do

2:02.6

subscribe to this podcast. The numbers of subscribers are growing. The numbers of listeners are
