What's up everyone? Welcome back to the new evangelicals podcast. It is so good to be with you.

I am Tim Whitaker the host of the show and the creator slash facilitator of the new

evangelicals. We are a nonprofit organization. We hold space

for folks who are marginalized by the evangelical church. We explore the

Christian tradition outside of the basement of evangelical fundamentalism and

we advocate for accountability inside of

evangelical spaces. It's good to be with you. If you do not know, last week was Beer Camp and

It was really an unbelievable experience.

It was amazing meeting so many people that I

respect and look up to and also new friends so that was great but we're back in the

saddle and by the hat what I mean is by the time you're hearing this I'm going to be on vacation.

Yes, I am on vacation with my family and some friends so I'll be gone for this week
